Alexander and I have been working together since November 2022 when I believe his handicap was around 9 or 10. At the time, Alexander had just decided to make golf his priority sport and wanted to take his game to the next level. As a golf coach, I hear this a lot from the 13/14- year-old age group but often then don’t see the dedication and discipline required to match their goals. Alexander is different in this respect, his dedication to getting better is second to none.

I attribute this to his great character first and foremost. Calm yet competitive, driven and hardworking. He’s of course an extremely talented golfer, but is also humble, a genuinely nice, well-rounded young man. A real pleasure to spend time with.

Alexander is a natural sportsperson, Athletic, strong and quick. He is very receptive to information and can quickly perform difficult tasks to manipulate and improve his golf swing. In the past year, Alexander has developed a great understanding of his golf swing and what he needs to focus on to produce consistency in his game and always attends with great enthusiasm and willingness to learn further in his lessons. Alexander has a great sense of feel and visualisation in his swing and is able to communicate with me what certain changes mean or feel to him which is a fantastic asset to have in the learning process within golf. His handicap is now 2.5 and I have no doubt it will soon be in the ‘plus’ category.

I was delighted to hear Alexanders’ plans for studying in America alongside golf as I believe this to be a natural pathway to reach his full potential within the game and grow further personally. Whichever university he attends, he will be a huge asset and will be gaining a brilliant golfer and person.
